B-Sharp

B-SHARP is a volunteer program working in partnership with Paint Branch High School, Springbrook High School, Banneker Middle School and Briggs Chaney Middle School. The program grew from a desire to reach out and help those youth in our community who are at-risk.

We provide suspended students with supervised study time in order to keep up with classroom work while on suspension. We help the students to accept responsibility for their actions that led to suspension and hope to diminish the number of repeat suspensions.

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of Liberty Grove United Methodist Church's ministry to our community. We currently have 30 active volunteers who help at B-SHARP.
