Member Care

The function of Member Care is to take care of our members when they are sick, and sometimes when they are lonely. Rev. Jones visits members in the hospital after an operation, and I visit later in the week. There are 4 of us on the committee.

I usually check the altar to see if the flowers from Sunday are still available, and if so, I take them to church members who are sick or needing a visit. I make phone calls to our shut-ins, and send cards.

I keep Nancy Johnson, Liberty Bell editor, informed when any members need to be listed in the Liberty Bell, and I forward changes to the birthday calendar when that becomes necessary.
