Sunday Worship Services
The 8:30 A.M. service is a traditional service
of hymns, psalms and sermon. This service is devotional in tone
and generally lasts about 50 minutes. Communion is served at the
altar by tables the first Sunday of the month. Approximately 50
worshippers attend this service.
During the school year, the 9:30 A.M. service
is informal in style, casual in dress, upbeat in tone and highly
participatory. It is held in the Fellowship hall. A contemporary
Christian song service is led by our worship team. Worshippers receive
communion every Sunday. Approximate attendance is 40.
The 11:00 A.M. service is an intergenerational
service held in the sanctuary. The atmosphere is celebrative and
friendly. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
Baptisms are held on the second Sunday. Following the children's
message, children up to the 4th grade go out to participate in children's
church. Approximately 200 are in attendance.
A professionally staffed nursery
is available from 8:30 until 12:15. In addition, children’s
opportunities during the 11:00 service include Pre-School
nursery and Junior Church. Both are staffed by professional staff
people who are with the children every week.
- Pre-School nursery, for pre-school and kindergarten children,
ministers to our small children through Bible stories, crafts,
and music.
- Junior Church provides a children’s worship time and
is designed for older children first through fourth grades who
are not ready to participate in the worship service. We provide
a quiet place for them, with a Bible movie, crafts, or books.
Junior Church is every Sunday, but during Communion Sundays, children
are encouraged to remain in the worship service and partake communion
with their family.
All are invited to Coffee & Conversation which is offered in
the Fellowship Hall for ½ hour before the 11:00 service.
